WBA Celebrates Newest Executive Development Program Graduates

In mid-November, the WBA celebrated the newest graduates of the Executive Development Program. Forty students successfully completed the 2019 program, spanning 12 months.

Students, all of whom were nominated by their bank’s leadership to attend the program, learned about a wide variety of areas within the bank, helping build a foundation of executive-level knowledge to be used throughout their careers.

Beginning in January, students took on the challenge of understanding bank financials, asset-liability management, credit, ethics and more. Students were required to meet regularly with mentors and complete homework assignments designed to enhance their learning.

The graduates were celebrated during a special ceremony at the 2019 Pacific Northwest Bank Leadership Symposium in December. Since the program began in 2010, over 300 bankers have successfully completed this program.
