Membership Application

Thank you for your interest in membership with the Washington Bankers Association (WBA). Below you will find a summary of member opportunities. We also invite you to view our additional member-only programs and services.

Completing a membership application is easy. You may email us or call (206) 447-1700 for an application. Submissions are subject to approval by the WBA Board of Directors. WBA membership is renewed annually and runs April 1 through March 31.

Companies doing business in Washington state that have a strong relationship with the WBA and the financial industry may apply to be selected as a WBA PROS vendor, joining selected businesses providing WBA members with a high-quality line of WBA endorsed products and services.

Who should apply: Banks authorized conduct business and accept deposits in Washington state.

Annual dues: Calculated based on the bank’s deposits in Washington state.

Benefits include:

  • Legislative and regulatory advocacy in Olympia and Washington, D.C.
  • Collaboration with other Washington bankers to deliver industry messages to public policy makers and regulators
  • Opportunities to serve on WBA committees as full voting members

Who Should Apply: Organizations doing business in Washington state that have a working relationship with the financial industry.

Annual dues: Non-Trust/Wealth Management $1,000 | Trust/Wealth Management $2,500  

Benefits include:

  • Two copies of WBA’s complete membership list
  • A subscription to Issues & Answers, the official news publication of the WBA, and opportunity to submit articles for publication
  • A company listing in the Washington State Financial Directory, and an expanded listing on the WBA website
  • Member-only pricing on WBA programs and products including professional development courses, the annual Bankers Convention, and exhibit booth space
  • Savings on products and services provided by WBA endorsed vendors
  • Networking opportunities

Who should apply: Banks headquartered outside of Washington state and not eligible for active member status, and in-state banks in the process of formation.

Annual dues: $2,500.  

Benefits include:

  • Access to members-only consultative services and endorsed vendor pricing and programs.
  • Access to members-only legislative and regulatory updates from Olympia and Washington, D.C.
  • Convenient, timely, and cost-effective education, training and professional development at member prices
  • Member communications, including WBA’s monthly magazine Issues & Answerswith up-to-date information on Washington’s banking industry
  • Member-only access on WBA’s website, www.wabankers.com

Associate members do not have voting privileges and cannot participate on WBA committees. Political advocacy for associate members is limited to broadly shared industry issues.
